Stainless Steel – Durable and Wear-Resistant Quality
Most of our jewelry is made from surgical steel (316L), a material that complies with EU environmental regulations and is recyclable. 316L consists of iron, chromium, carbon, as well as small amounts of nickel and molybdenum. Nickel is added to give the jewelry its shiny surface and is so firmly bound that our jewelry is nickel-safe according to EU REACH regulations.
Steel is a durable and scratch-resistant material that doesn't discolor as easily as sterling silver, brass, or gold. We collaborate with producers who use high-quality steel from reliable sources, including China.
Gold Plating – Durable Elegance
We use 14K gold plating on our jewelry, where 58.5% is pure gold and the rest is a blend of silver and copper. The jewelry is plated with a thickness of 2-3 microns for long-lasting durability and a beautiful shine.
Our plating technique, PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), involves vaporizing material and condensing it onto the jewelry’s surface in a vacuum chamber. This method creates a durable and scratch-resistant plating that is easy to clean and maintains its shine over time. The result is jewelry with a luxurious finish that lasts and adds a sophisticated touch to your style.
Mother-of-Pearl – Durable Elegance with Natural Beauty
Our mother-of-pearl beads are of the highest quality and offer a fantastic alternative to real pearls. They are made from seashells that have been compressed and dipped in a synthetic solution, giving the beads both durability, weight, and a beautiful luster.
While mother-of-pearl beads do not shine as intensely as real pearls, they are significantly more durable and resistant. They handle saltwater, skin residues, and scratches much better, making them an ideal choice for jewelry worn daily. This combination of beauty and functionality provides a long-lasting and elegant finish to every piece.
Enamel – Colorful Elegance with a Glossy Finish
In several of our jewelry pieces, we use colored enamel to create a beautiful, glossy surface. The enamel consists of a transparent glass material that is heated to melt and bond to the jewelry's surface. By adding various salts and pigments, the enamel achieves its vibrant colors, giving each piece a unique and timeless elegance.
